It was ...Sad to hear of Mr Gill's passing, RIP. It was Andy's full-page review of 'Psychocandy' by the JAMC in Nov 1985 (entitled 'Candy Is Dandy!') which made me buy it. It was a wonderful piece of writing which powerfully impressed me as to how thrilled he felt about the record. Every year or so I google-search the few phrases I remember from it, to see if anyone has upoaded either an image scan or the full text of the review - no luck so far.
